hub South West Events

Kier smallerhub South West is committed to positively engaging with the locally based supply chain, with a view to helping them improve their chances of gaining hub contracts. By doing this, it is anticipated that more of the circa £500m construction spend over the next 5 years will result in contracts for local companies and jobs for local people.

Our workshops and events are open to all members and aspiring members of hub South West’s Territory Supplier Network and are designed to build skills and create meaningful networking opportunities (with hub SW, Tier 1 contractors, presenters and other delegates) for those attending.

March's hub Club will be held on the 26th March at CCG Homes, Arc Tech Building, 11 Cambuslang Rd, Glasgow G32 8NB. Please arrive for 11:45 for a 12:00 start.

The meeting will feature hub news focusing on the hub South West East Whitlawburn Housing Project with a presentation from CCG on their company, their off-site manufacturing capability and the opportunities relating to them, bringing together the hub South West team, Tier 1 contractors, sub-contractors, suppliers, professional services companies and of course networking with fellow attendees over a coffee and a sandwich, with an optional tour of windows and doors factory. Numbers will be limited to first 35 bookings.

The hub Club Aim:

1. To connect the local construction supply chain to the hub delivery programme and the delivery programmes of hub South West’s Tier 1 contractors.

2. To encourage inter-trading between South West construction businesses.

3. To support new construction businesses to make valuable contacts and develop their sales.

4. To promote learning and business improvement
