hub South West Events

Kier smallerhub South West is committed to positively engaging with the locally based supply chain, with a view to helping them improve their chances of gaining hub contracts. By doing this, it is anticipated that more of the circa £500m construction spend over the next 5 years will result in contracts for local companies and jobs for local people.

Our workshops and events are open to all members and aspiring members of hub South West’s Territory Supplier Network and are designed to build skills and create meaningful networking opportunities (with hub SW, Tier 1 contractors, presenters and other delegates) for those attending.

If you would like to attend, please complete the simple booking form and we will get back to you.

Introduction by Craig Young, Project Director, hub South West followed by short presentations on each project detailing programme dates, sub-contract opportunities and community benefit plans.

10.00 - 12.00
Early responders can book a 5 minute time slot with each contractor. Alternatively, just turn up, take pot luck and join the queue. We are intending to have 2-3 people from each contractor in attendance so there should be enough flexibility to enable everyone to participate.

12.00 -13.00
For those arriving later or who have missed a slot, it will be traditional queueing up to speak to the contractors during the last hour

Tea and coffee will be available throughout the morning in the networking / presentations area, and a number of short (10-15 minutes) presentations from (affordable housing) sub-contractors/ suppliers are invited over the period 10 till1 while the one to one meetings are happening.

Booking:

If you wish to attend, please visit our website www.hubsouthwestscotland.co.uk/event to register. We will allocate the first 4 suitable time slots available. If you wish to choose a specific time, say later in the morning, please email or call as soon as possible.
