hub South West is committed to positively engaging with the locally based supply chain, with a view to helping them improve their chances of gaining hub contracts. By doing this, it is anticipated that more of the circa £500m construction spend over the next 5 years will result in contracts for local companies and jobs for local people.
Our workshops and events are open to all members and aspiring members of hub South West’s Territory Supplier Network and are designed to build skills and create meaningful networking opportunities (with hub SW, Tier 1 contractors, presenters and other delegates) for those attending.

hub South West and Clyde Gateway - Meet the Buyer and Supplier Showcase Lanarkshire
Clyde Gateway, hub South West and our Main Contractors have once again teamed up for our fourth annual Lanarkshire Meet the Buyer and Supplier Showcase. at Rutherglen Town Hall. It is on Thursday 12th March from 09:00 - 13:00
Clyde Gateway is Scotland’s biggest and most ambitious regeneration programme. It is a partnership between Glasgow City Council, South Lanarkshire Council and Scottish Enterprise, backed by funding and direct support from the Scottish Government.
Lanarkshire Meet the Buyer and Supplier Showcase is a trade exhibition with 35 stands, 15 of which are reserved for Lanarkshire based businesses. In addition, running alongside the event are procurement and property opportunities, learning and information sessions, and numerous networking opportunities.
The event starts with bacon rolls/ coffee at 9.00 with a buffet lunch at 12.30.
hub South West is currently engaged in a number of major construction projects including educational and housing projects in Lanarkshire
One of our hub's Performance Indicators commits us to afford 70% of contract opportunities to local businesses, enabling as much as possible of the construction spend to remain in the South West area, boosting the construction sector and providing jobs for local resident. We are therefore extremely keen to learn more about our local supply chain members and their capabilities.

2: Come along as a visitor, network with the companies attending - this is free to attend and is drop-in in nature, please feel free to drop-in any time between 09:00 and 13:00, however it would be helpful to book your place, we usually have an attendance of 120+ so it is helpful to know how many people to expect for catering purposes.
