hub South West is committed to positively engaging with the locally based supply chain, with a view to helping them improve their chances of gaining hub contracts. By doing this, it is anticipated that more of the circa £500m construction spend over the next 5 years will result in contracts for local companies and jobs for local people.
Our workshops and events are open to all members and aspiring members of hub South West’s Territory Supplier Network and are designed to build skills and create meaningful networking opportunities (with hub SW, Tier 1 contractors, presenters and other delegates) for those attending.

FULLY BOOKED - North Lanarkshire Projects - Meet the Buyer
Hub South West are pleased to announce our second of two virtual Meet the Buyer Events for 2021 on the 5th March from 10:00-12:00
Our Tier 1 Contractors are looking to meet Lanarkshire businesses, suppliers and tradespeople to connect and explore possible opportunities surrounding our North Lanarkshire projects which are due to go on site within the next 2 to 9 months.
- BAM - Newmains and St Brigid's Primary School Shared Campus
- Morgan Sindall - Carnbroe / Sikeside Primary Campus with Calder Community Centre
- Robertson - Chrysten School
The event is to provide information and meeting opportunities to potential sub-contractors, there will be a short presentation on each project detailing sub-contract opportunities, plus a 5 minute 1:1 meetings with each contractor. We are intending to have 2-3 people from each contractor in attendance.
