Kier smallerhub South West is committed to positively engaging with the locally based supply chain, with a view to helping them improve their chances of gaining hub contracts. By doing this, it is anticipated that more of the circa £500m construction spend over the next 5 years will result in contracts for local companies and jobs for local people.

Our workshops and events are open to all members and aspiring members of hub South West’s Territory Supplier Network and are designed to build skills and create meaningful networking opportunities (with hub SW, Tier 1 contractors, presenters and other delegates) for those attending.

The Build Dumfries and Galloway Programme in Partnership with Dumfries and Galloway Council and is open to businesses located within Dumfries and Galloway, construction sector related business looking to grow in a sustainable manner by building the skills and internal capacity to take on increasing volumes of business.

FREE to attend, albeit a regular commitment of time is required to take full advantage of the programme, consist of 8 half-day sessions over 8 weeks, from Wednesday 21st September, led by acknowledged experts in their fields, and covers a range of critical business issues including Strategy, Leadership and Management, Team building, Digital Marketing and social media, Tendering & Procurement, Digital Accounting, Cyber security, and more.

Includes supply chain meetings with several of hub South West's active Tier 1 Contractors, plus the opportunity to meet like-minded business people. The programme concludes with an Awards ceremony on Wednesday 9th November
