hub South West Training Courses

Kier smallerhub South West is committed to positively engaging with the locally based supply chain, with a view to helping them improve their chances of gaining hub contracts. By doing this, it is anticipated that more of the c£500m construction spend over the next 5 years will result in contracts for local companies and jobs for local people.

Our training courses are open to all members of hub South West’s Territory Supplier Network and are designed to build skills and learning outcomes which are meaningful to our supply chain contractors.

Spaces available on BA (Hons) Business management https://www.strath.ac.uk/studywithus/graduatedegreeapprenticeships/

Open to any age who is looking to progress their career.

The course starts on 20th September with the induction on the 10th. Tight timeline I know but still achievable.

There is no cost - just time and commitment as your employees would be studying for a degree whilst working full time. It is fully funded by Scottish Funding Council and SAAS.

The application process begins with the receipt of a nomination forms. Then they would be required to successfully complete a maths test (basic numeracy rather than complex maths), a SWOT analysis and an interview with the GA team (this is more of an informal chat over zoom) and they will discuss the SWOT analysis based on a case study which they will send to in advance of the interview.
