hub South West is committed to positively engaging with the locally based supply chain, with a view to helping them improve their chances of gaining hub contracts. By doing this, it is anticipated that more of the circa £500m construction spend over the next 5 years will result in contracts for local companies and jobs for local people.
Our workshops and events are open to all members and aspiring members of hub South West’s Territory Supplier Network and are designed to build skills and create meaningful networking opportunities (with hub SW, Tier 1 contractors, presenters and other delegates) for those attending.

hub South West Build Lanarkshire Programmes
Build Lanarkshire is now established as an important fixture in the Lanarkshire business support calendar and a valuable business development opportunity for local construction sector related companies.
The programme is run in partnership with North Lanarkshire Council, South Lanarkshire Council, and our active Tier 1 contractors. Open to any Lanarkshire construction sector related business with aspirations for growth by building the skills and internal capacity to take on increasing volumes of business.
The programme has been carefully designed for companies in the construction sector who have a desire to grow, improve business performance and support local economic activity. During each ½ day session you will learn from business experts across a range of fundamental business topics, interact and collaborate with your fellow delegate businesses, and engage directly with our Tier 1 Contractors. The relaxed programme structure helps take time out of your business to give you the headspace and practical tools to focus on business growth, personal development and offers ongoing support to build capability, establish relationships other local businesses and also with hub’s Tier 1 contractors to ultimately help you build your business.
The programme - is FREE to attend, albeit a regular commitment of time is required to take full advantage of the programme, consisting of 7 half-day sessions over 7 weeks. You’ll learn from business experts directly with ongoing development support and guidance, engage with Tier 1 Contractors opening opportunities for growth as well as developing relationships with fellow businesses and ultimately build your business.
