Meet The Team
As Chief Executive, Michael is responsible to the hub South West Board and Territory Partnering Board, for all our business and construction activities. Previously Executive Director - Operations with Hochtief PPP Solutions UK and with a strong background in PFI projects, Michael joined hub South West in March 2013.
Andrew began working with hub South West in October 2012 after leaving his role as Senior Development Manager on the hub South East Territory. Since joining Equitix/hub South West, Andrew has primarily been involved in the delivery of our hub South West projects. Andrew is an experienced bid lead, Development Manager and SPV Project Manager, particularly within the Education, Healthcare and Scottish hub Sectors. Andrew has a BSc (Honours) Degree in Quantity Surveying from Robert Gordon University and is a qualified Chartered Surveyor (MRICS).
Craig is responsible for the managment and development of projects from inception through to finacial close. Craig has over 15 years Industry experience, with the last 10 years specialising in the Education and Local Authority Sectors in both Development and Delivery roles. Craig joined hub South West in 2013 as the Development Manager working on the sucessful £36 Garnock Campus Project, and has went on to lead successful teams working with our Participants in North Ayrshire, Dumfries and Galloway and South Ayrshire. Since joining hub South West he has procured and developed a diverse pipeline of projects and Strategic Support Services.
Craig is currently leading on a number of large scale Revenue and Capability funded Education projects as well as promoting meaningful collaboration across Participants and with our Supply Chain.
Supply Chain Development Manager
Gordon is responsible for managing and developing hub South West's Territory Supplier Network, with a view to ensuring that as much as possible of the construction spend is used to maximise the benefit to the local economy. His background is in local economic development, both at strategic and economical level within Scotland's Enterprise Network. As a member of hub South West's Economic Development Team, funded by our Tier-1 Contractors, Gordon leads the Supply Chain Institute in delivering a significant number of training, development and network opportunities for existing and aspiring members of the Supply Chain.
Territory Programme Director
Bill is employed by the public sector to support Participants in their understanding and use of hub South West. In addition to having responsibility under the overarching contractual agreement between the public and private sector as the Participants' Representative he reports directly to the Territory Partnering Board (TPB) and is responsible for the performance management of hub South West.
Michael joined hub South West in October 2013 and is responsible for the delivery of our Participants’ projects on site, ensuring that the construction activities meet the requirements of the contract documents. Michael previously worked for BAM PPP UK Ltd in development and delivery roles and more recently acted as an in-house client project manager for a large private company. Michael has over 10 years industry experience and has an MSc in Project Management.
Skills Academy Development Manager
Charlotte is responsible for the operational management and development of the Skills Academy, directing our Tier-1 Contractors on the procurement and progress of work placements, employment, funding and training opportunities for hub South West's local Community groups including the Supply Chain. With 20 years expertise in both private and public sector training organisations, Charlotte has considerable knowledge on developing businesses to manage new work placements, apprenticeship programmes, recruitment and industry accredited training. Through her credible influences, being NEBOSH Qualified together with her Construction Industry background with CITB, she has positioned the bespoke tailored training, advanced certified training and delivery of employer advisory sessions for our Tier-1 Sub-Contractors. Her strategic vision to ascertain precise regeneration training enabling all individuals the opportunity to learn the relevant upskills therefore placing them in a robust position for in continual work, in addition to qualifying the local contractor's workforce to a more prospective and sustainable future.
Skills Academy/Supply Chain Assistant
Margaret has been employed with hub South West for the past year as the support Administrator for the Community Benefits Team. She is responsible for assisting both the Supply Chain and the Skills Academy, and is an experienced Administrator having worked within the Ministry of Defence in Germany for the previous 12 years. Margaret is enjoying all the challenges that a varied, busy and demanding work structure provides.
