hub South West held our second supplier showcase earlier this month, in conjunction with the Lanarkshire Councils in support of Lanarkshire Business Week 2016.

Individuals from a cross section of businesses swapped their usual surroundings for a day on a building site as they took part in a special ‘Apprentice for the Day’ initiative with hub South West and Kier Construction.

Plans for the William McIlvanney Campus in East Ayrshire took a step closer to fruition this week as the project reached financial close, with contracts being signed.This milestone signals the official start of construction on the new purpose-built, state of the art learning campus in Kilmarnock. 

Construction work at the new Ayr Academy Campus is now officially underway! The £25 million project, funded by South Ayrshire Council through the Scottish Government's Scotland's Schools for the future Programme, is set to open in August 2017.
