hub South West are delighted to confirm reaching contract close on the £32.5M Marr College DBDA project in collaboration with South Ayrshire Council.

This exciting project will see our Tier 1 partner Kier Construction deliver an innovative comprehensive refurbishment, modernisation and expansion programme to the Troon School. The original Grade B building will be updated and a brand new wing will be built over 3 storeys, connecting it to the rear of the original building over all floors. 

A single storey sports facility will also be built, which will be easily accessible for both pupils and the wider community out with school hours. All works to Marr College will be carried out while the school remains operational. The school currently has a role of 1,033 pupils and following completion in July 2017, the schools capacity will increase to 1,360 pupils.

This marks hub South Wests' 6th Contract close in 2015, with the value of closes this year reaching £72M.
